In official recognition of his journalistic career and his efforts in the defense of human rights, the Arab-European Center for Human Rights and International Law, based in Norway, awarded an Honorary International Certificate to Dr. Abdel Aziz Tarekji for his leadership in the media and for his outstanding contributions to the promotion of the values of peace, tolerance, and social responsibility through his journalistic and humanitarian work.
The recognition, entitled “For Leadership, Responsibility, and Innovation,” highlights Dr. Tarekji’s professional commitment and his voluntary contributions to the strengthening of journalistic ethics, respect for human rights, and the dissemination of messages that encourage dialogue and coexistence among peoples.
In an official statement issued by the Center, the Secretary General Aihan Jaf and the Regional Director Dr. Ahmed Ghazy emphasized that Dr. Tarekji represents a model of a committed journalist who uses the word as a tool in the service of human values, underlining that this recognition expresses the Center’s gratitude for his voluntary work in promoting the culture of peace and the defense of truth.
For his part, Dr. Abdel Aziz Tarekji expressed his deep gratitude to the Center and his colleagues, stating:
“Many thanks from the bottom of my heart to my dear colleagues at the Arab-European Center for Human Rights and International Law. You are always at the top and in my heart… All my gratitude and my warmest greetings.”
It is worth noting that Dr. Tarekji holds journalistic and human-rights positions in various Arab and international institutions and is recognized for his active role in the defense of human causes and in the promotion of ethical and responsible journalism in the Arab world and Latin America.
